Songkran is coming (April 13-15), and as every year the expat population is divided. What about you, dear reader, will you be out partying and soaking wet, or will you stock up on food and stay at home?
In any case, if you want to experience the more traditionnal side of Songkran, the blessing ceremony with the monks will take place in front of the city hall, at 7.30 on April 13. At 12.30, the Songkran parade will leave from soi Long Beach, go along the beach and up Narathip road until the city hall.
