Another 2 drownings in Cha-am, one in beer

A 36 year-old man of Mon ethnicity drowned and passed away in Cha-am on Sunday 7 July 2019. According to one of the emergency rescuer who was on site, the man came from Sangkhla Buri district (Kanchanaburi province), visiting Cha-am on a company outing, along with his wife and 9 other people. The rescuer said the man may have died following an epileptic seizure.

A few days before on 29 June, a 35 year-old man from Chiang Mai, also on a company trip, took part in a drinking competition and passed out after consuming a jug of beer. He later died in a Cha-Am hospital.
