In May there will be many days off, starting of course with May 1st, Labour Day. When a holiday is on a Saturday or Sunday, the next working day is a day off too. So May 2nd, Monday, is a holiday.
May 5, Thursday, is also a holiday, celebrating the coronation of the King, and Friday the 6th was declared a day off too by the government.
Let’s add the Buddhist festival Visaka Bucha on Friday the 20th, and that is a total of 3 long week-ends in May!
